Hello
It's a funny situation when a young man has a job and a house and some friends and hobby and even a girlfriend and still has nothing to do on a Saturday night. I've lost interest in television, I played Tetris Attack till my eyes hurt, and the D-shape shower curtain rod is too wide for my pink bathroom and I am therefore unable to install it. What time is it? Time to revive a website!
To be fair, perhaps my girlfriend is in Spain and perhaps no one is back in Claremont for spring semester yet and all my other friends (wisely) got the hell out of Dodge, heading to jobs and grad schools and exciting destinations.
So, the plan for the night is to make a little bit of guacamole, break open one of many bags of chips I have, pour a beer, and start playing around with this website. As I have repeatedly noted to my friends, the current visual design looks like cat shit so I'll have to do something about that eventually. I hope to attract a few random people and get them to write on here. Yip and Matt Dorman always have plenty to say. Anyone else interested? Leave a comment and let me know.

Cat shit, eh?
Man, I'm supposed to have a job, but so far I've only worked less than ten hours this week, which has left me - much like you - floudering for things to do. It's only partly my fault that I've worked so little, too. Everytime I do finally make it into the lab, the girl I'm supposed to be helping isn't there. So I run an experiment for a half an hour, then leave her a note about my results and asking what needs to be done next.
I am getting cable this weekend, precisely when I don't need it. The optimal situation would have been cable all break and this week, and then cancel it before I actually have work to do. Bah!
By the way, for the curious and/or bored, I assembled a list of my favorite pictures in my gallery.
Anyways, I came into work at 1:30pm. It's now 2:30pm; I'm getting a burrito and going home. Tetris Attack sure sounds like a good idea. /ramble
