No, this post is not about Trina but rather Jolie.
In February, I had a glorious Thursday at the Los Angeles Zoo with Maribeth, Sara, and Jolie. We spent all day walking around looking at animals and playing with Jolie. You can see photos here.
While we were hanging out at the gibbon exhibit, watching them swing like crazy and feeding Jolie lunch, another mother came to hang out with her son and check out the gibbons. The boy, who was slightly younger than Jolie, grew interested in her yams and YoBaby and came over to investigate and say hello. Meanwhile, Sara had commented on the boy's Winnie the Pooh tricycle and made small talk with the mother. I stood back, watching, confused, wondering where I had seen this woman before.
She was Rachel Griffiths, from Six Feet Under!
I masked my excitement as much as possible, thinking how jealous Trina would be when I told her. I considered pretending to take a photo of the gibbons and actually taking one of the actress but refrained. All in all, I was very impressed by my ability to respect her privacy and personal life. Only later, once she had left, did I tell Sara and Maribeth whom she was.
On the way out of the parking lot, we saw Dave Foley from Kids in the Hall and Talk Radio. Who knew the LA Zoo was so exciting?
