Pockets

As I got in my car today at lunch, I checked my pocket for a pen, wanting to have one handy despite the preponderance of that very item at the bank I was about to visit. The pen was there---of course---a Sanford Uniball Fine. And I noticed that I could not remember having placed that pen in my pocket. I always have a pen in my pocket but the act of stowing it there is always indistinct. I suppose this action is one of many ways I've trained myself---an inescapable habit borne of convenience.

I blew through five laptops today and have two more to finish before they head to Japan this weekend. In more news of productivity, I wrote some e-mails long wanting, came to an agreement (I think) for the Sandblast tournament website, spoke to Sandy on the phone about the new addition to his family, and was preapproved by Bank of America for an auto loan. Tonight, before dinner, I head back into the belly of the beast (Metro Honda) to negotiate price. I know the two cars I would buy; I do not know if they will give me the price I want. My father's tactic of walking out of the dealership seems strong but also intimidating. I'm just a kid!

Whatever! Metro Honda will give me what I want! I will have new car before the month is up, and said car will be totally sweet! I believe.

P.S. I have not exercised today---I wanted a day off as my body becomes acclimated to more consistent exertion. I will certainly take a run at lunch tomorrow.

P.P.S. REI has a few strong job openings in Kent (south of Seattle) in both technical support and software engineering. I will likely write cover letters and apply tomorrow. I believe.
