Hazlo!
I am making an executive decision: the spring break trip to Mexico is at fault for my failure to maintain resolutions on:
- Website updates and improvements
- Productivity at work
- Future employment
- Running and exercise
- Elimination of computer games
This is a new week and, as always, a new chance to improve myself.
I worked late today---until 5:30---configuring laptops for E80. As much as Microsoft can be a pain, Windows Server Remote Installation Services are awfully convenient. In worse news, the E80 laptops we bought this semester have a laptop lock port only accessible without the battery installed. Furthermore, I broke one of the lock ports with just the tiniest bit of pressure. Such wonderful security features these new machines have.
After work, I ran 3.75 miles and then lifted upper body at the Linde Activities Center. I am far out of shape---I barely exercised last week, after spraining my ankle and pulling my lower back at the St. Pat's Hat Tournament last weekend. The pulled lower back muscles was particularly frustrating this week. The pain was almost debilitating on Sunday and then quickly lessened over the next few days. I played ultimate at Braineaters practice on Thursday but awoke Saturday morning to the same debilitating pain. After Icy Hot, ibuprofen, and consistent stretching, I noticed no problems today, in neither normal activity nor exercise. If I feel fine tomorrow, I will attempt a 6 mile run and light lifting. Chuck, you inspired me
Chuck, along with my departure from facebook, inspired me in another pursuit. Rather than continuing in event based photo galleries, my next project will be to add photographs of all the major people in my life from the last 6 - 8 years---mugshots as it were.
We received an offer on the house and we countered. We have not heard anything back yet. GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!
I am leaving in moments to see We Are Scientists perform at Pomona. Tonight may prove to be my last opportunity to see them perform live at the Claremont Colleges. I find their increase in success and fame almost mind-boggling. These three guys were Brooke's peers, local heroes with just a lame (and amazing!) Flash cartoon as their only music video five years ago. Now they show up in Rolling Stone and on OnionAV and perform on Letterman and Conan. Crazy!
I need a job. GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!
