Drive Me to Firenze?
I updated my gallery with photos from my time with Trina in Florence, Italy. This addition is just another step on the way to displaying all of our photos from Europe. Check, check, check it out: Florence 2005.
I am working on political websites for Brian and quite enjoying the products (at least aesthetically). I will post links soon.
My marathon training is right on track, as to be expected. I ran 16 miles on Sunday at an 8:15 mile pace---it felt really slow but I should not be running any faster, according to Hal Higdon. Scott has not been able to run consistently with all the rain in Massachusetts, especially considering the attention demands of his flooded basement. To Scott, and my mother, and everyone else in New England: hang on! And know that I, in hot, sunny California, feel for you.
I visited my Uncle Paul at Cedars-Sinai last night and saw Maria and my father as well. Hospital staff is well-intentioned but extremely annoying---the delays and requirements to which they subject visitors are ridiculous. Regardless, I was relieved to see Paul doing well and happy to spend time with my aunt and father, who is almost done with a whirlwind tour of Miami, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, and Los Angeles. He is flying home as we speak, returning to my mother who suffered through Mother's Day by herself with a flooded basement. I love you, Mom!
Trina has an interview this weekend for a Seattle internship with NARAL. I am hopeful and excited for her and also jealous of her opportunity to scope out our future home. Claremont, I beg you, buy my house and let me leave!
