Writer, humorist and NPR commentator John Moe wrote a book on his thirty day experiment with Life on the Right. The author is a hardcore Seattle liberal and I particularly enjoy the rules of the experiment, including "Throughout, I will be sleeping with a hot liberal woman, but as I’ve been married to her for ten years, that’s grandfathered in." Conservatize Me is on my reading list.
