Northwest Regionals

Last Saturday, Trina, Sam, Hovey and I trekked up to Mount Vernon to watch the Open and Women's Northwest Ultimate Frisbee Regionals. Claire, Deirdre, Lorianna, and Meredith were all playing with Viva!, Alex was playing with the UW team, and Spencer, Whitey and other good folks were playing with Whit's team, Contra. With friends to support, and a multitude of other exciting games between top squads, the day was phenomenal. I am a bit disappointed to have missed watching some major upsets on Sunday but Trina and I were trucking her worldly possessions to her new apartment in Greenlake. She is a bit excited, just a bit.

The adorable puppy you see to the right is Charlie, the charge of Claire and her family, having been adopted from Meredith's foster care. Trina was in love and nearly committed dog-napping. She will have to settle with regular visits.
