Evan Almighty
When I discovered the upcoming sequel to Bruce Almighty, my initial reaction was of disappointment. Fantastic, omnipotence will be granted again to a white man so that he may misuse these abilities in a petty manner that will eventually lead to his gaining great wisdom. Would no one go to see a movie about a woman with God's powers because she might actually do good with them and thus no hilarity would ensue?
But then, THEN, I actually watched the preview and discovered that the World's Best Boss will be building an ark for Morgan Freeman. So I guess I am on board... the ark. Right.
