Pressure, Pushing Down on Me

  1. Christmas is in five days and I have procured two (2) presents.
  2. I launched Frisbase yesterday. I estimate a few hundred Los Angeles players will be using it by the end of the month. It is not done.
  3. Seattle experienced a terrible windstorm last Thursday night. Continuing a December trend, Sparkle Motion felt the brunt of the assault, its windshield scratched and scuffed by wind-tossed roofing tiles. The glass will certainly need to be replaced, the money for which I do not currently have.
  4. Lei-Out is in less than a month. I need to post the team list online. I need to finish a jersey design for my team (Dark Horse!) and submit our roster and make sure team lodgings are set.
  5. Trina leaves for Ashland tomorrow.
  6. I leave for Massachusetts Friday night.

I feel for your lack of presents. I have yet to get anything for Matt. I was going to a few days ago and we had a blizzard. Getting out of our cul-de-sac is still an adventure (it’s one big, unplowed drift with a set of truck tracks through it like wagon ruts), but I want to drive into town to find something before the weekend madhouse. It’ll probably still be bad since a lot of work is staying closed because the buses can’t run a regular schedule.

By the way, Dark Horse reminds me of this goofy place here, http://darkhorsebar.com/. One of those, “I never thought you could cram so much junk on walls and ceilings” kind of places. Seriously, there’s a room with three carriages and two horse-sleighs suspended from the ceiling, although spotting them through the other layers of junk is difficult.
