Seesmic Review and Preview
My dear friend Whit is working as a video editor for Seesmic, a startup by Loic Le Meur. Seesmic is a web application to provide a simple and fun interface to share and communicate with video content. The service follows the Twitter model of breaking barriers to content submission—the real hook is a Flash interface to publish video directly from a webcam (and microphone) to the Seesmic site.
Whit passed me an invitation code for the pre-alpha and I have been happily experimenting and sharing my submissions. Here are two of my videos:
Also, Whit featured a few flashes of me at the end of Day 10 of the YouTube videoblog chronicling the Seesmic startup.
I will write a full review of the Seesmic service after I test it for a week or so. My initial assessment: très cool.

If you want a strange experience, I suggest listening to the Youtube guy with the French accent and then scroll down to view people and their breakfasts. Completely nonsensical.
see you soon Andrew.

I’m your son, Mom, and these expressive tendencies of mine are ones for which you must take some credit (blame?). And however bizarre, do I not provide some interesting tidbits?
Loic, thanks for stopping by drewd and for the opportunity to play with the pre-alpha. I’ll see you on Seesmic!

Sorry, Wayne, I do not have any invitation codes to distribute. I would suggest getting in contact with Loic, Whit and/or Giselle through Twitter or http://loiclemeur.com or just the invite request form on Seesmic.
