A Good Box of Wine Is…

...a box of good wine. Well, actually, it's a case of decent bottles of wine for a great price.

I am presently eating brie and crackers and enjoying Casa Julia 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve.

Mr. Matt Kassoff picked me up from the airport earlier this week with a special surprise in the trunk. Matt previously worked for a Seattle wine distributor and is still able to order bottles from a friend there at wholesale prices. I picked out eleven bottles, two of which were sold out, and was delighted to have them waiting upon my return from Los Angeles. I will not cite the exact price for the lot but let me say it was... competitive.

I received the following:

  1. Dolcetto Diano D'Alba 2005
  2. Rolondo Langhe Bianco 2005
  3. Rigal 2002 Malbec-Merlot
  4. Hahn Estates 2006 Meritage Red
  5. Huntington 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon
  6. Claar 2004 Late Harvest Riesling
  7. Cycles Gladiator 2005 Merlot
  8. Foxy 2004 California Red
  9. Casa Julia 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

I am very, very extremely excited to work through these bottles. Oh, how I love wine.

Also, I am updating my wine page to reflect these new additions, as well as recent bottles.

Hey, jerk... Lisa... whatever your name is... Do I know you? What's your deal?

Matt Kassoff is a good man and I will accept no differing opinion.
