Disengage weekend. Engage workweek.

Post 1

Oi.

I am tired. Amanda’s first weekend in Seattle was a barn-burner and I barely made it out alive.

Pictured above, we headed out to Rendezvous for dancing at Kyla’s going-away party, before which we enjoyed Rock Band and mixology with Sarah and the host of Charlie Meatball’s. And that was after Kyla’s going-away picnic [...]

Today or Gin

Post 2

I promised to Whit, on chat yesterday, that I would finish reworking his website and adding a Flickr feed by the end of that day, or I would buy him a bottle of gin. Well, if you measure the end of the day by when you go to sleep, I do not owe him any [...]

Giving In to Flickr

Happy Chichester, a solo musician, was playing as we [...]

A Full and Musical Weekend

Post 6

I spent no moment of calm between work and revelry on Friday, leaving almost immediately from my apartment upon arriving home to catch a bus back downtown with Charlie (Chuck, for you Mudders). We grabbed some delicious ravioli and then skipped to 9th and Pine to see the Decemberists at the Paramount. They were worth every [...]

I May, A Day Am I

I am not entirely satisfied with the above title: I was looking for a chance to use “yam” but I will try to extrapolate some meaning from the meager palindromic offering.

The past month, and the weeks preceding it, were replete with contrast, to say the least. I spent two of the finest weeks of my [...]
