The new photos are beautiful and, where applicable, delicious. I don't think they can make frosting that color in the northern hemisphere.

Whit, hearing from you on thanksgiving was what made it such a good one. Your call was so unexpected and delighful. I really miss you, and love all your adventure stories. It all sounds amazing, while still, I'm stuck in my room getting ready to study for FINALS. Geez it came so fast. I will be staying out here for a couple of weeks during winter break, which frankly should be way better than Claremont, so I'm excited about that. Oh and next week is when Becca and I will show our sign song video, so were supper excited about that. I will tell you all about it next week. Everyone in our family wanted to watch it several times during thanksgiving, so that was sweet.
Miss you bunches. and HELLO TO CLAIRE!!!!!
p.s. We're starting an official ultimate team on campus. It will be lame I'm sure, but frisbee none the less.
love you both

We miss you. Thanksgiving was fun but not the same of course with you all being away. Everyone is fine. Small group this year...Me, Cheryl, Cait, Aunt Sue, Jeny, Grandma MaryJane, Uncle Stan, Aunt Kathy, Sasha, Rudy and George The Turtle.
Scott and Ariel were AWOL in Palm Desert at a relatives oasis (missed you guy's too - HELLLO TYLER, Nick had to work(missed you Nick!). The blog should have a family picture up pretty soon too.

We went to Grandpa Scotti's grave and reminiced about how much of an influence he has been in all our lives. We, including Grandma, were able to walk around Alum Rock Park, located in eastern San Jose, where Grandma could identify points of interest she visited as a young person "back in the day." One highlight was the smelly sulfer spring that sprang warm from the hillside on our very cool Nov. afternoon. How do I know it was warm? Because Stan was brave enough to stick his hand in it. The smell kept me many feet away. Grandma got right up to it however, soaked her hand in it's purported medicinal healing waters and by gum if she didn't raise her hands right off of her walker and loudly pronounce to God her thanks for being healed on the spot. We got a picture of that...well, we asked her to reenact the hand raising so we could archive it for posterior, to which she acquiesced.

We had fun but really missed you both.
Much Love and Kisses,
Your Daddy
