A good amount of time has gone by since Worlds happened, but as you have read we have been on some monster adventures, travelling all over the coast, and now to Melbourne. Being so busy it has been tough to find time to edit, but I decided long ago that I would have a goal of posting a video per week or so. 21 days have gone by on this trip for us already, so by my math (which is not very good) we’re about due for another video. So the long awaited, quickly edited, World Ultimate Club Championship video, as filmed and edited by Whit Scott! You’ll notice there is almost no footage of our team playing - that’s because we were playing, but at least you’ll have a vague idea of what the tournament was like. All of the music in this video is taken straight from Worlds. The didgeridoo was played by a native from Perth, the “I am Australian” song is written by Bruce Woodley and Dobe Newton, I don’t know who they are, and I’m not sure who sings this version but I do know that girls dancing to it are the Vegemite dancers. There is also a song sung by a band wearing yellow, who seem to be singing about everything being alright and it sounds like they are saying Tequila a lot, but I don’t think they are. Sit through the end of the video, there is a surprise especially for Ray Fort. This video is going to go up now, and almost immediately afterwards will be another post. Enjoy!
Congrats, again, y’all. Great job on the video; you definitely capture the flavor of the tourney. i’m totally inspired to get there some year now. maybe after i move to some African nation, i can start a team and take them to worlds. heheh.
keep working on that footage, whit, we love the videos!
heartily,
brooke
