Definitely not in Italy anymore….

The last six days have been a travel marathon.  Consecutive days of travelling out of Europe found us in Rimini, Rome, London, Miami, and finally, St. Croix.  Leaving Europe was a huge trial of travel stamina, after missing our first flight from Rome due to a late train, and then missing our overseas flight.  Of course, the airlines weren’t very helpful and the unplanned overnight stay in London (once we got there) was a result of that.  We are now officially exhausted.

Fortunately, our travel woes haven’t overshadowed how much fun we had at Paganello.  It was a whirlwind of beach ultimate, theme parties, Italian food, and lots of sunshine.  Although now I have a sinus infection and my legs and feet are still sore. We also heard from one of the tournament directors that there were an estimated 40,000 spectators out during the four days!  Our team placed 2nd in the Mixed Division, so we’re psyched about that. Right now we don’t have Whit’s bag, so we don’t have our computer or photos. More details to come…

Anyway, now for a complete change: we’re in St. Croix, which is a part of the U.S. Virgin Islands. We’re doing an internship and staying at the Virgin Islands Sustainable Farming Institute for the next four weeks.  We arrived yesterday to 80-degree weather and corresponding humidity.

More will be posted in the days to come!

The new photos are beautiful and I eagerly await the accompanying stories.

I hope you two finished taxes—mine are done at the price of not having fully unpacked from Paga.

    Love and miss you.
